Beating Cancer
I was diagnosed stage 3b rectal cancer late May 2019 at age 43. I had been very healthy until then and I didn’t understand why I got cancer. But there was no time for pity party, I had to move on and start the treatment right away.
I decided to start this blog more than half way over of my path but here it is, my stories. It is just my silly days since I am very optimistic but I hope that things I went through will be someones survival guide one day.
I have done Neoadjuvant Therapy (Pre-surgery Radiation and Chemotherapy), Surgery (Lower Anterior Resection Surgery and temporary ileostomy)and ongoing Adjuvant Therapy. And outcome is great so far besides some side effects from chemo (which is still considered as mild in my case).
I am very lucky to have great support system through this journey and each day I can feel I am getting better. Sometimes I feel I am very spoiled even but because of that I can concentrate on fighting this battle.
